Job Overview
KAM CONTROLS INC. is looking for a Service Engineer that can combine document procedure
development & management, technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. The individual
responsibilities include repairing, testing, troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical
components by all Kam devices. The successful candidate should be able to work full time as
part of the Service Team.
Essential Job Duties
• Responsible for the Instrument Repair (RMA) Process.
• Assist customers with instrument installation, troubleshooting, and recommendations,
via email, phone call or on-site.
• Identify recurring instrument issues, document them and share findings with the
R&D/Engineering team.
• Assist sales team on demos and training for customers / authorized agents.
• Assist R&D/Engineering team on the testing of existing and / or new products.
• Document the RMA & Call Log process.
Job Requirements
• Hold a degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience with MS Excel, Word and Publisher.
• Knowledge of electrical circuit boards and devices.
• Knowledge of algorithm development, data structures and statistical data analysis for
repeatability, reproducibility and accuracy.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering concepts.
• Ability to solve problems and providing workable solutions.
• Strong and effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Excellent documentation development, organization and collaborative development
skills.
• Time management, self-motivation with limited supervision, and excellent organizational
skills.
• Travel: 20% (after 6 months’ training).
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Bi-Lingual (English + Spanish).
• Ability to commit to the position for an unlimited time.

Job Overview:
KAM Controls, Inc., Houston, TX seeks R&D Engineer to engineer and / or update instrument drawings for RFQs and other drawings required by R&D. Liquids mixing calculations, pressure drop calculations, determining mixing recommendations, etc. Procurement of pumps and components for the KAM Measurement Loop solution. R&D documentation: including but not limited to assembly instructions, installation procedures, building diagrams, troubleshooting documentation, bill of materials, etc. Conduct advanced CFD simulations using OpenFOAM to assess fluid dynamics, evaluate mixing efficiency, and determine optimal C1/C2 ratios for enhanced tool performance. Perform detailed analysis on flow behavior, turbulence modeling, and pressure gradients to support the design and optimization of KAM mixing solutions. Design and develop product assemblies in support of R&D initiatives. Identify and communicate with suppliers for parts and components needed to complete KAM solutions. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Interdisciplinary/Innovation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related and 12 months experience.
