Mixing Solutions

With three different mixing options, KAM is the only manufacturer to offer mixing solutions for every flow scenario. From the simplicity of the SMP™ Static Mixing Plate, ideal for LACT units, to the standard SMS™ Static Mixing Spool or the patented ML™ Measurement Loop for low flows and/or large diameter pipelines, KAM engineers will evaluate your application and flow data to determine the optimum solution for your specific needs.

The patented KAM SMP Static Mixing Plate is inserted between two flanges, minimizing vertical run, and creates a mixing pattern in the downstream flow.
It is suitable for consistent pipeline velocities above 4 fps.

Static Mixing Spool

SMS™ Static Mixing Spool

The KAM SMS Static Mixing Spool consists of a number of mixing elements incorporated into a spool that divide and recombine the flow to create mixing. A KAM SMS can be designed with as few as one element or as many as six, depending on flow requirements.

Measurement Loop

ML™ Measurement Loop

The KAM ML provides a power mixing alternative when static mixers are not viable. The solution involves the installation of a bypass loop on the main line so that flow can be mixed by the combination of pump action and a high-speed reinjection into the main pipe with KAM’s injection nozzle.
The KAM ML will mix fluids at any velocity. And, the consistent velocity and homogeneity generated makes the ideal environment for automatic sampling and watercut measurement.
Each system is sized to your needs and specific flow regimen by KAM engineers.
