KAM SC™ Sampler Controllers are an extremely user friendly way to regulate and monitor total sample volume in KAM CSS™ Complete Sampling Systems with KAM IAS™ or KAM E-IAS™ samplers factors including, batch size, total samples per batch, and input for volume confirmation from a weight scale. Through a localized input, operators can enter values for multiple factors including pipe size, fluid gravity, total number of sample grabs, and cargo size. This information, combined with continuous data from a flow meter, enables the KAM SC™ to calculate the flow volume required per sample and to regulate the sampling rate or grab rate appropriately. Samples are initiated by actuating a solenoid valve regulating air flow from a compressor.
Additionally, the KAM SC™ is able to display flow rate, total sample volume, pressure, temperature, total samples taken, and sampler performance.
The units are available with either NEMA IV or explosion proof enclosures, ideal for use in hazardous area locations.
The SC™ Sampler Controller may be purchased individually or can be ordered with the any of the elements of our KAM CSS™ Complete Sampling System, which also includes an in-line automatic sampler, a pipeline mixer, aWeight Scale and a Circulating Sample Mixer.
