Overview
The IAS™ Isokinetic Automatic Sampler is KAM’s time-tested probe sampler, utilized in pipeline sampling of crude oil, condensate, and refined products for over 30 years. The IAS™ is ideal for completing a wide variety of automatic sampling systems because it utilizes one of the simplest probe designs in the industry and is compliant with API MPMS 8.2/ASTM D4177 and ISO 3171.
The IAS™ is pneumatically actuated, or to serve any need for electric actuation, KAM offers the same probe design as the IAS™ with the motorized E-IAS™ Electric Sampler. The IAS™:
- can take sample grabs up to 5 cc’s at a maximum rate of 20 samples per minute, combining speed with accurate, representative sampling.
- can be installed on pipeline diameters anywhere from 2” to 36”, making it a highly versatile fit for any truck, marine, or custody transfer applications.
- has multiple mounting options, is very low maintenance (biannual schedule), and does not require system shutdowns for installation.
The IAS™ can be ordered with the KAM CSS™ Complete Sampling System, which also includes a pipeline mixer, a Sampler Controller, a Sample Receiver, a Weight Scale or Meterizer, and a Circulating Sample Mixer.
