The highly efficient SMS Static Mixing Spool creates a homogenous flow within your pipeline, ensuring accurate sampling and watercut measurement. Not only does the Static Mixing Spool require no additional energy source, but through its unique design it achieves turbulent flow at a much lower Reynolds number than other conventional static mixers.

The spool is composed of a fixed arrangement of positive and negative elements which simultaneously create cross-current mixing for increased turbulence and mixing. The SMS spool is so efficient, you can create a homogenous mixture with a very short spool. Often as few as two elements.

KAM also provides alternative mixing solutions, compliant with API MPMS 8.2. The KAM SMP Static Mixing Plate, which inserts between two flanges, and the KAM ML Mixing Loop, that provides power mixing.
